Custom Wall Wrap at Cinnaminson High School
We’re excited to share a recent project that we designed, printed, and installed: a custom wall wrap that celebrates the spirit of sports over the years. This unique installation features a dynamic black and white photo collage of sports pictures from various eras, capturing the energy and passion of athletes across different times. The final product showcases the versatility and high quality of 3M™ Envision™ Print Wrap Film LX480mC paired with 3M™ Envision™ Gloss Wrap Overlaminate 8548G, and was expertly installed by our 3M preferred installer Matt Chaplin.
Designing the wrap artwork
Our design team began by scanning photographs that span different decades and sports disciplines. The goal was to create a visually compelling wall wrap that not only highlights the evolution of sports but also energizes the space that it is installed in.
Using advanced design software, we meticulously arranged the photos to ensure a seamless blend and flow. The design was crafted to cover the entire wall area while maintaining a cohesive look that ties the older scanned photos and modern snapshots together.
Printing process for the custom wall wrap
For this project, we chose 3M™ Envision™ Print Wrap Film LX480mC due to its superior print quality and durability. This film is known for its excellent color vibrancy and sharpness, which was crucial for our high-resolution sports images. The material also offers flexibility and conformability, making it ideal for complex wall surfaces.
Once the design was finalized, we used a state-of-the-art printer to produce the wall wrap. The 3M™ Envision™ Print Wrap Film LX480mC provided outstanding print results, with colors that truly popped and images that retained their sharpness.
Finishing Touches
To ensure the longevity and resilience of the wall wrap, we applied 3M™ Envision™ Gloss Wrap Overlaminate 8548G. This overlaminate not only enhances the glossiness of the print but also adds a layer of protection against scratches, UV rays, and environmental factors. The result is a stunning, high-gloss finish that enhances the visual appeal of the sports photos while providing durability.

The final step was the installation of the wall wrap. The installation process involved careful measurement and alignment to ensure that the wrap fit perfectly on the wall and that the graphics were properly aligned.
Our 3M preferred installer employed professional techniques to apply the wall wrap smoothly, without bubbles or creases. Their experience ensured that the installation was flawless, and the final result was a visually striking and professionally finished wall wrap that transformed the space.
